• HOW TO TRANSITION YOUR PUP TO V-PLANET?

Simple steps for a safe and successful transition to a vegan diet

While pups absolutely love the great taste & aroma of V-planet’s yummy, healthy food, their unique digestive enzymes need a little time to adapt completely to a new food. The way around this is to gradually add increasing portions of vegan food into your dog’s normal diet. Start by adding 10% vegan food, monitor your pet, then continue adding 10% increments until your dog gets used to the change. Generally, for most dogs it takes about 7-10 days, and for sensitive stomachs, about 2-3 weeks.

Guidelines for transitioning your pup’s current dry or wet food to V-planet kind kibble*:

*Pups with sensitive stomachs may need little more time to adjust to avoid any digestive upset.

If your dog experiences some digestive upset, you can go back to the previous transition amount where your pet wasn’t having any trouble and feed that amount for a few more days before continuing with the change.
